Group of Helping Hands (SAHAS) Nepal organised numerous awareness-raising activities during 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence with the global theme "Orange the World: Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect!" The alarming incidents of gender-based violence especially domestic violence were recorded during a pandemic, to aware community members radio jingle containing message gender equality, gender violence, early child marriage, along with laws and policies of Nepal government was aired in the local radio station in the local language. Flex was installed in public places with information and laws against gender violence along with the distribution of the pamphlets. Amid the COVID-19 to ensure the community and staff safety interaction program on gender violence and ways to prevent it was conducted maintaining social distancing and following safety protocols. Mobile counseling desk was established to provide the needed counseling to the survivors of violence and prevent the occurrence of future violence.
