SAHAS Nepal organized a 2-day Annual Review and Planning Meeting of Local Initative for Food Security Transformation (LIFT) Project on 28th and 29th Janaury, 2018 in Okhaldhunga district. The main objectives of this meeting were to review the progress, discuss about challenges faced in 2017 and formulate annual implementation plan for 2018. The meeting began with the welcome note from Mr. Tanka Gautam (Capacity Building Manager) followed with the introduction of all participants. The participants were oriented on the concept of Climate resilient agriculture & related technologies by Mr. Dipesh Neupane (Technical Coordinator). Each project district presented their progress, challenges, lessons learnt along with financial report. In addition, there was a session on Effective monitoring and report writing by Mr. Sujan Lal Shrestha (Knowledge Management, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator). Later, each district worked on the detailed implementation plan for 2018 and the meeting concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Surendra Kumar Shrestha (Executive Director).
