SAHAS Nepal, in partnership with Child Aid Network, successfully concluded Child-Friendly Pedagogy Training held from March 15 to 29, 2026. The program brought together more than 150 teachers from Solukhumbu district committed to transforming the way children experience education in Nepal.
The training focused on creating safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments, equipping educators with practical tools across five key areas: child-centered learning, classroom management, multiple intelligence, lesson planning, and building stronger relationships with students and parents.
This initiative followed a hands-on, reflective approach. Teachers applied newly learned techniques directly in their classrooms between sessions, then returned to share their experiences, discuss challenges, and learn from one another. This cycle of learning, application, and reflection encouraged meaningful professional growth and built a strong sense of community among participants.
