International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality, recognizing the extraordinary actions of women, and standing together, as a united force, to advance gender equality around the world. On March 8, SAHAS Nepal organised numerous programmes in its working districts in coordination with local government and line agencies with the slogan "Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow”.
